About Soul Match

Soul Match is a compatibility test for two. You each answer the same questions about yourselves, privately and at the same pace, and at the end you get an overall score plus a breakdown across six areas: Communication, Lifestyle & Habits, Love & Affection, Values & Priorities, Social Energy and Conflict Style.

How to play

Pick a test depth: Standard (18 questions), Deep (24) or Deeper (30), then create a room and share the four-letter code.

The test starts as soon as your partner joins. Questions come grouped by category, three to five per category, and are drawn and shuffled fresh for every game.

Some questions are multiple choice. Others ask you to rate yourself on a scale from 1 to 5.

Your answer is sent as soon as you tap it. Once you've both answered, you move to the next question together.

Your partner's answers stay hidden until the end, when everything is revealed at once.

Scoring

Multiple choice questions count only if you pick exactly the same answer. Scale questions reward being close: the same number is a full match, one step apart counts as 75%, two steps 50%, and so on. Each category gets its own percentage, and your overall score is the average of the six. Tap a category to read what the score means and see both your answers side by side.

Tips

Answer for yourself, not for the couple you'd like to be. The results are only useful if they're honest.

Choose Standard for a first go, and Deeper when you want the full picture.

Treat low categories as conversation starters, not verdicts.

Go through the question breakdown together. That's where the best talks start.

Why it's great for two

Most couples never sit down and compare how they handle conflict, money or alone time. Soul Match gives you a calm, structured way to do it, and the side-by-side answers make it easy to see where you already agree and where it's worth talking more.

Quick questions

How long does it take? Around 10 minutes for Standard and 15 to 20 for Deeper, plus time to read the results.
Is this a scientific test? No. It's a guided conversation starter, not a psychological assessment.
Can my partner see my answers while we play? No. Nothing is revealed until you've both finished the last question.
