MIRROR
MAZE
Reach the portal before the timer ends.
Mirror Maze is a cooperative maze game for two. The Navigator sees the whole maze from above, while the Runner only sees a small patch of corridor around them. Talking is the only way through: the Navigator calls out the route, and the Runner has to reach the glowing portal before the timer runs out.
You win or lose together. Each round you reach the portal in time counts as one team escape. Escape all 4 for a Perfect Escape, and 3 is enough to break the curse. With 2 the curse only wavers, and with 1 or 0 it holds and the maze wins this time.
Mirror Maze is all about trust and clear talking under a bit of pressure. You'll quickly learn whether your partner says "left" when they mean right, and swapping roles means you both get to be the calm guide and the one wandering in the dark.
How long does a game take? Up to about 5 minutes on Archmage and
around 15 minutes on Apprentice, often less if you escape quickly.
How do we talk to each other? The game has no chat, so play in the
same room or on a voice or video call.
Does escaping faster score more? No. Each escape counts the same,
so a steady route beats a rushed one.
Mirror Maze is free, with no download or account needed. Available on the web and Google Play.
