No winners and no losers here, just art you made together.
About Finish My Drawing
Finish My Drawing is a drawing game for two where you each secretly draw
half of the same picture. One of you draws the top half, the other draws
the bottom, and neither of you can see the other side. When you both
lock in, the halves are stitched into one usually ridiculous masterpiece.
How to play
Pick a difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard or Mixed), a game of 3, 6 or 10 drawings or the full deck, and a timer of 60 seconds, 90 seconds, 2 minutes, 3 minutes or no limit. Then create a room and share the four-letter code.
You both get the same prompt, like "A cat wearing a top hat", and find out which half is yours. You can re-roll it up to twice a round.
Draw your half with six colours or a custom one, three brush sizes, an eraser, a fill bucket and undo.
Tap Done & Lock when you're finished. If the timer runs out, your drawing locks by itself.
The two halves are joined and revealed, and you each vote "Yes, Love it!" or "Nah".
Top and bottom swap every round, so you both get turns at heads and at feet.
How it ends
There are no points and no loser. A drawing only goes into your shared
gallery when you both vote yes. At the end
you see your saved drawings and earn a title based on the share of
drawings you kept, so every game length can reach every title: Artistic
Chaos, Rising Stars (a quarter or more), Master Curators (half or more)
or Legendary Duo (80% or more). Play Again deals fresh prompts in the
same room with the same difficulty, length and timer.
Tips
Draw right up to the middle line. Necks, legs and trunks that reach the edge give your halves something to join onto.
Agree on sizes before you start if you want things to line up. Or don't, and enjoy the chaos.
Use a re-roll on prompts that are hard to split, like a scene with everything in the middle.
Why it's great for two
You're not competing, you're creating something together without looking,
and the reveal is always the best bit. It rewards knowing how the other
person thinks, and it's just as fun if neither of you can draw.
Quick questions
How long does a game take? About 5 minutes for 3 drawings at 60
seconds, and 40 minutes or more for 10 drawings at 3 minutes each. Can we peek at each other's half? No. You only see your own half while
drawing. The whole picture appears at the reveal. How many prompts are there? Over 140, covering animals, people,
objects, scenes, food, fantasy, sci-fi, everyday things and emotions.
Finish My Drawing is free, with no download or account needed. Available
on the web and Google Play.
